Yangyuxin Zhang – 17 years old – China
Annual Program
Hello, my name is Yangyuxin, and my friends call me the house cat “Jia Mao” because I’m friendly, warm, and calm. I live in Shanghai with my parents, but I stay at boarding school during the week. This has helped me become independent and organized.
School is very important to me. The workload is very heavy in China, so I don’t have much free time. Sometimes, I participate in school events as a photographer. In my free time, I’m interested in aviation, engineering, and geography. My dream is to study civil aviation at university. I also have an interest in languages. I speak Chinese, English, Japanese, and French.
I love to travel and I’m eager to share your daily life and culture with you. I hope we can discover new places in Quebec together. Since the ICAO headquarters is in Montreal, I’d like to learn more about aviation in Canada.
