Danish folk colleges are part of non-formal education in Denmark. Based on dialogue and mutual learning, they welcome young people aged 18 to 30 who wish to develop personally and pursue their interests. Students live on-site.
As an AFS participant, you'll join an international class focused on Danish culture and traditions, while also choosing other courses with local students. Everyone lives, eats, and studies together, quickly fostering friendships. The fee covers accommodation, meals, and orientation, but plan on USD 170/month for personal expenses. AFS will meet you at Copenhagen Airport and arrange a mid-stay orientation.
