Spend 4 weeks in Tunis to learn Modern Standard Arabic!
You'll meet students from all over the world, all here to discover Tunisian culture and develop their linguistic and intercultural skills.
Admission requirements
Participants must be between 16 and 32 years old on the day of departure.
Your host family
Living with a Tunisian family will allow you to practice the language after class and discover a warm people who value community rather than individualism.
You could even learn the unique "Tounsi" dialect! Most also speak French, which facilitates connections and cultural exchange.
The school system
You will take 100 hours of intensive Modern Arabic courses at the Bourguiba Institute, from Monday to Friday.
On weekends, AFS Tunisia offers excursions to explore the Medina, Carthage, its museums, as well as villages, archaeological sites, and unspoiled beaches.
