With your host family and the local community, you'll explore its ancient traditions, castles, and lush, wild nature. Between English and Irish, sports, music, and history, you'll experience the traditions of this captivating country.
Admission requirements
Participants must be between 15 and 17 years and 8 months old on the day of departure.
The AFS program
Go on a trip for a year, a semester, or a trimester and attend a high school in your host community. You'll live with a family selected by AFS for an unforgettable immersion experience.
AFS offers training, orientation, and activities before, during, and after your stay, and you'll meet young people from all over the world!
